Tom Cary son un trío formado en 2006 por Francisco Verdugo, Pablo Garrido y Javier Muñoz Serrano procedente de Málaga. Gracias a su sonido y actitud se han convertido en los últimos años en uno de los proyectos más interesantes del underground español. Poderoso, percusivo, mutante, crudo, eléctrico y abrasivo son algunos de los adjetivos empleados para describir sus directos y grabaciones.
Tras ganar la mayoría de los concursos noveles nacionales con en su primera demo, Steve Albini produjo su primer álbum, "That's right! Clean your soul" (Anewlabel / Pias) en 2008. A finales de 2009, editaron "Grace of the pure hearts" (Miga / Popstock), una recopilación de caras B y rarezas de su primer periodo en el net-label granadino Miga. En diciembre de 2011 presentan su 2º álbum de estudio, [Miga45] "Las Hidden Logics", un sorprendente álbum en el que la banda asume todas las tareas de grabación y producción, exceptuando el trabajo en las mezclas de Paco Loco.
Durante los últimos 3 años han realizado más de 100 conciertos en diferentes puntos del globo entusiasmando a los amantes del rock en estado puro. Han actuado, con notable éxito, en festivales de la talla de South By Southwest SXSW (Austin, EEUU) en 2009 y 2010, Rock al Parque 2009 (uno de los festivales más grandes de América Latina, que se celebra en Bogotá, Colombia), Primavera Sound 2010, Monkey Week 2009 y 2010, el FIB Benicassim 2006, Festival FFF Ecuador 2009 , FNB 2009 (Caracas, Venezuela) o la Bienal Europea 2008 (Bari, Italia). En 2010 realizaron gira conjunta con Sonic Boom de Spacemen 3, fueron banda de acompañamiento de Damo Suzuki de Can y teloneros de Psychedelic Furs y de Starlickers dentro del ciclo "Meet the residents".
Algunos logros objetivos para una banda que parece empeñada en esquivar el radar mediático y las tendencias para seguir dictando sus normas, diversión y frescura.

Tom Cary are believers of the "do it yourself" with a hardworking and combative perspective. They´ve become one of the most interesting projects sprung from the Spanish underground thanks to their sound and attitude. Powerful, percusive, mutant, raw, electric and exciting are some of the adjectives used to describe their live shows and recordings.
After winning the main contests in Spain with their first demo, Steve Albini produced their first album, "That´s right! Clean your soul" in 2008. In 2009 they released "Grace of the pure hearts", a compilation of b-sides and rarities from their first period. Next December 2011 they are launching their second studio album [Miga45] "Las hidden logics". A surprising album where the band does all the recording and production with the help of the well-know producer Paco Loco.In the last 3 years, their tour included more than 100 shows around the world, all of which were possible thanks to the support of an audience who love music in its pure state.
They´ve taken part successfully in festivals such as South by Southwest 2009 (Austin, U.S.), Rock al Parque 2009 (Bogotá, Colombia), FIB Benicàssim 2006 (Castellón, Spain), FNB 2009 (Caracas, Venezuela), Biennale Europea (Bari, Italia, 2008). In 2010 they did some shows within a tour together with Sonic Boom from Spacemen 3 and they were also backing band for Damo Suzuki from Can, Psychedelic Furs and Starlickers within the concert series “Meet the residents”.
These are objectives achieved for a band that seems determined to avoid the media and trends in order to follow their own rules, fun and freshness..
